Meet the Founder and CEO
Lena Willis is the Founder and CEO of The True LAW, a marketing and talent agency dedicated to helping creators build impactful, long-term careers through strategic representation, brand partnerships, and digital growth. With a strong background in influencer marketing and social media strategy, Lena launched The True LAW to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity—ensuring creators, especially Black and POC creators, are not only visible, but properly positioned for sustainable success.
With nearly a decade of experience in content creation and digital marketing, Lena has worked with leading brands including Ulta Beauty, Fashion Nova, TRESemmé, Dossier, Bloom Nutrition, ASOS, DoorDash and CapCut. Through The True LAW, she manages influencer partnerships, negotiates brand collaborations, and develops tailored marketing strategies that help creators expand their platforms and maximize their earning potential.
Prior to founding The True LAW, Lena held roles in social media marketing and influencer talent management, including leading social strategy for a hair brand, where she helped scale the brand’s digital presence and drive significant revenue through content and creator partnerships. She also managed influencer talent at a talent agency, securing high-value deals and building strong relationships between creators, brands, and agencies.
Lena holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Strategic, Legal and Management Communication from Howard University and studied at St. John’s University in their Integrated Advertising Communication Master of Science program. Through The True LAW, she continues to empower creators and brands with the strategy, representation, and support needed to turn influence into lasting impact.
As a Black woman in this industry, I am deeply committed to advocating for Black and POC creators who have historically been undervalued, underrepresented, and underpaid. My passion lies in helping creators gain the visibility, compensation, and opportunities they rightfully deserve, while contributing to a more equitable and inclusive creator economy.
Our goal isn’t to chase trends—but to create lasting influence. By combining creativity, strategy, and passion, we transform ideas into meaningful results.
